In a Software as a Service company, can you think of a more important department than Software Development? We certainly cannot. That’s why today we wanted to introduce you to one of the team members that helps turn Scilife into a reality every day. Meet Bhavesh, Systems Integration Specialist!
Bhavesh follows the Scilife rhythm, waking up every morning at 6 am to activate his body and soul by doing some yoga or other exercises next to the lake. Is there any better way to start the day than being surrounded by nature?
After doing some sport, he likes to relax a bit before officially starting his day at work.
Let the working day begin! Bhavesh sits down to check emails and Slack messages (while getting up his energy with a delicious breakfast), and organizing his day ahead.
After having an idea of what the day will look like, Bhavesh meets with his super team to discuss tasks, set priorities, and help one another solve any challenges they might be facing.
Time to get things done! After meeting with the team, Bhavesh focuses on dealing with all his tasks for that day.
Before the lunch break, Bhavesh tries to complete all his priorities, so he can enjoy his lunch in peace and relax for a while.
Time to wrap up! Once he finishes his work day, Bhavesh likes to enjoy some spare time with his friends, going for an evening walk, or focusing on his favorite hobbies: photography and drawing. When the weekend comes, he also tries to spend time with friends and taste different kinds of food.
Now that you´ve got to know Bhavesh a little better, don’t you want to discover a few more things about him?
For me, the best thing about my job is the environment and culture we have in the company. I never feel I’m putting too much effort into completing my tasks. It’s easy to maintain a work-life balance working from home, so even if something urgent happens at home or with my family, I can take care of that and make up the time in the evening. Also, team members are super nice, they are always willing to help with anything at work.
It’s simple for me. If I’m getting to learn new things regularly, then I know I’m growing as a professional. Also, I always try to learn the basic concepts of everything that is happening in other departments, it gives me confidence and the feeling of success.
The major part of my work as a System Integration Specialist is to interact with customers, understand their data, and migrate that data into Scilife using the tools that I keep developing with the coming changes and requirements of our customers. I also take care of setting up and managing environment configurations for our customers.
Other than this, as a software developer, I’ve been working on the invoicing solution of our system, implementing new features and changes.
Energizing.
All the time spent with my teammates is awesome but the best moment was when I met all the India colleagues in person when we had a team building day back in October 2021.
My relationship with my clients is very smooth. My top priority is to resolve their concerns in the fastest possible way and solving their issues in time gives me credibility. I always try to keep in touch with the clients I work with.
I think the users like it when they don't need to make much effort to be able to work with our platform.
I like to have knowledge of every project around me.
I'm interested in psychology and sometimes I am able to convince people around me of anything
