About the Role
As a Scilife Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in driving new business growth across pharma, biotech, medtech, and related sectors. You’ll own the full sales cycle - from prospecting to close - using a consultative, value-driven approach to help customers digitize and simplify their quality and compliance workflows.
This is a consultative sales role requiring a proactive, hunter mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of client challenges in regulated industries. You’ll own the full sales cycle - from pipeline creation to deal closure - and work closely with our BDR, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting: Drive pipeline growth through personalized outreach (email, LinkedIn, events, cold calls), targeting decision-makers in Quality, Regulatory, and IT functions.
- New Business Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across life science verticals.
- Consultative Selling: Lead discovery sessions to uncover compliance and operational challenges (GxP, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 11) and position Scilife as the optimal solution.
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage deals from first contact to contract close, ensuring smooth handover to Customer Success.
- Structured Sales Methodology: Apply MEDDPICC principles for strong qualification, forecasting accuracy, and deal consistency.
- Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain disciplined, data-driven CRM management (HubSpot), delivering accurate forecasts and meeting/exceeding quarterly revenue targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with BDR, Marketing, and Demand Gen to refine messaging and improve the conversion rate and ultimately the win rate.
- Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and regulatory shifts to sharpen Scilife’s positioning.

Requirements
Technical skills:
- 3+ years in an Account Executive or quota-carrying SaaS sales role (life sciences or regulated industries preferred).
- Proven success in outbound prospecting, pipeline management, and closing complex SaaS deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German or French an advantage).
- Strong understanding of MEDDPICC or similar methodologies.
- Comfortable engaging both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools..
