Q&A's
from the session

Is there a way to create a calibration report that can be printed and attached to the equipment?

If you're already working with Scilife, you're likely familiar with creating reports for events, CAPAs, and similar tasks. The process for generating a calibration report works in the same way.

You would go to the equipment module and, within the module settings, click on “Pre-configure Template.” By following the link provided under the forms, in the section about variables, you'll see all the available variables related to equipment. At the bottom of that page, you'll find options for using variables that display the last 5, 10, 15, or 20 maintenances.

To create a calibration report, you can configure a document type by including the variables I mentioned earlier. You can then print it in the desired format. You also have the option to download it as a PDF or Word file, allowing you to add any additional information to the document once it's downloaded.

Is it possible to configure equipment tasks to be reviewed and approved by QA? How can we do that?

Yes, to configure this, go to the equipment module settings, then to the signature settings. Toward the bottom, you will see a toggle that says, "Turn on the switch to allow QAs configured in Equipment to sign off before closing Maintenance."

When you turn this toggle on, all maintenance tasks will need to be approved by QA. After the executor marks a task as completed, it will show as pending approval. Once QA approves it, the task will be officially marked as done.
