Q&A Session

In this free session, you’ll see a practical demonstration of how Scilife’s Deviations and Nonconformities Management software works, you’ll learn how to register, track and manage events, linking them to CAPAs to prevent compliance failures.

Q&A's from the session

Can I filter on custom fields in the Event listing page?

Yes, the Listing Pages allow you to customize the data tables. You can add both standard Scilife fields, as well as your own custom fields, and then use the search functionality to filter for specific contents.

Is it necessary to use custom fields in all event types?

No, you can use the standard Event forms for all the Event Types except for those where they are necessary and useful.

Is it necessary to configure a specific report template for each event type?

No, you can use a default common report template for all your Event Types. This is configured in module settings.

Do I always need to configure the same QA person for all the events?

You can configure a QA person in Module settings for all Events, and then, only when required, set up a specific QA person on specific Event Types.

What happens if the system has no info to display in the variables?

Then, there will be no data to replace and the field will show empty. If you would like to make it clear that no data is present, you can apply the N/A suffix to your variables so empty values are then replaced by N/A.

Is there a limit on how many custom fields you can create? Or how many you can add per event type?

There is no limit, you can create as many custom fields as you need and add as many as you need per Event Type.

What is the advantage of using a custom fill for pictures if you can already upload the files with the descriptions?

The advantage of using a custom fill is that the picture is automatically visible within the event, without needing to access the files and click on the items; it will be displayed when setting up this type of field.

You will also be able to specify the height and width of the image.

You can also upload the files, if you want to add visual proof of the event, but this feature makes the process easier within the system itself.
