Gerlinde was drawn to Scilife by the opportunity to contribute to something meaningful and learn from incredibly talented people who truly care about their work. The energy, passion, and collaboration across the team are nothing short of contagious!


 

Originally from Austria and now based in the UK, Gerlinde has built a career defined by curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for growth. Having worked across diverse industries and roles, she’s gained a deep understanding of what drives business success and customer value. (Fun fact: she once led a registrar’s office and even officiated weddings!)

As VP of Sales, Gerlinde is focused on building high-performing teams, scaling processes, and empowering people to thrive. Early in her career, she discovered that the best-performing teams weren’t the ones where she had all the answers, but the ones where everyone understood the why behind every decision.

That philosophy has shaped the way she leads, guiding how she coaches, makes strategic choices, and aligns teams, and it continues to inspire the way she’s helping Scilife grow today.

Outside of work, Gerlinde prioritizes spending quality time with her son and family, her greatest source of joy and inspiration. She loves staying active in every way possible: road cycling, motorbiking, bouldering, hiking, practicing yoga, and meditating. And of course, there are the countless walks around the lake — her favorite way to recharge and stay grounded.
